Steve and his team recently competed our loft conversion along with a bathroom renovation and decoration of our hall stairs and landing. The work was competed to a very high standard and no questions were left unanswered. We first employed Steve in 2020 to manage a living room renovation in our 1930s house. We wanted traditional with a modern twist. We were vague on the ideas and only really knew what colour pallet we wanted to use! Steve not only did an amazing job but he was able to provide design support throughout the process. This enabled us to create a high quality outcome that was the envy of our neighbours! 

This work was a precursor for the main changes we had planned for the house. The next stage was a large extension at the back of the house, providing a new living room/ dining/ cloakroom/ utility and kitchen. 

We were so impressed with Steve’s professionalism and design flare when completing the living room that we quickly decided we wanted to use Steve and his team for these major works. 

At the time we had a new baby in the house. So finding a company that was very sympathetic to the stresses of building work on the family and fitted the work into the ongoing family life was a blessing! 

We started the extension work mid 2022 and it was completed in the January of 2023. Steve was even able to leave the house functional for us to cope with the Christmas period, which was very much appreciated. 

The end result of the extension is we now have a very impressive, contemporary, detailed space that has changed the way we live in the house. We are definitely the envy of the street now! 

Steve and his team were a pleasure to have around, which is the first time I have experienced this with builders when renovating houses! They made the experience enjoyable and limited any stress where possible. 

We have more plans for the house (new bathrooms and room changes on the first floor) and we will definitely be using Steve and his team for this work!

When we thought about having our loft converted we had no idea of the process and what we needed to do with regards to building regulations, architectural drawings and structural engineers calculations etc. we just knew we wanted a bedroom and an en suite if possible. 

Steve came highly recommended from a friend that had used him for an extension and loft conversion.

Steve helped us through the daunting process of having it designed and even added some great ideas with layout and design features. 

He worked tirelessly on the project through all weathers ensuring the house remained protected and completed it in good time. 

We have to say, we were astounded by his hard work and the final finish. He has created an amazing addition to our house that has completely changed the way we live in our home. 

He made the process stress free, we have and will continue to recommend decorum to anyone that is thinking of having any building works done.
